Jaadugar's magic fizzles

Criminal nabbed after 10 years.
Jaadugar's magic fizzles
He is known as jaadugar. Not because he''s a magician, but because he''s able to read the faces of people and tell if a person is carrying jewellery in his bag.
After having identified his target, jaadugar would surreptitiously snatch the bag containing the booty and make a clean getaway. The cops have never been able to catch Rauf Babloo Shaikh (jaadugar), red-handed for the last 10 years, until now.
Shaikh and three members of his gang were recently arrested by the Anti-Extortion Cell of the Thane police led by inspector Ravindra Angre. They recovered diamonds and jewellery worth Rs 50 lakh. Officers say that Shaikh used to operate with a group of 10 to 12 people. Explaining his methods, the officers say, "Shaikh used to walk with the target while the other members used to be behind him. On finding a chance he would snatch the bag and pass it on to his members. Further, to avoid suspicion Shaikh would start screaming, "Aare dekho chor taxi mein bhaag raha hai" (look the criminal is fleeing in the cab)."
